UCF Community Rallies Around Knight Injured in Tragic Accident

The UCF community is rallying behind one of its fellow Knights following a tragic accident on April 4th, 2017. Radley "Rad" Gillis and his friend and Phi Delta Theta fraternity brother, Jake Adler, were closing up the Lake Claire Recreation Area when they were struck by a car driven by an alleged drunk driver.

Gillis Takes First Steps on Prosthetic Legs

After being hospitalized for several months, Gillis has taken his first steps on prosthetic legs. The video of his first steps, posted on Facebook, has been viewed over 14,000 times, and has received hundreds of likes, loves, and comments. The outpouring of support from the UCF community and beyond has been overwhelming, and has helped Gillis and his family through this difficult time.
