Two Men Attacked in Less Than 36 Hours

A Florida angler was bitten on the foot by a shark on Friday night, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. This is the second shark bite incident in the Florida Keys in less than a week.

The Florida Museum of Natural History's International Shark Attack File investigated 120 alleged shark-human interactions worldwide in 2023. Two men were bitten by sharks in Key West last week within two days.
