Erik Ten Hag Names The Three Manchester United Signings He Wants To Make In Explosive Interview

Erik ten Hag names the three Manchester United signings he wants to make in explosive interview

United boss aiming to improve squad in January transfer window

Erik ten Hag has named the three Manchester United signings he wants to make in the January transfer window.

The Dutchman wants to add a new centre-back, a holding midfielder and a forward to his squad.

Ten Hag has been impressed with the players he has inherited at United, but he believes that the squad needs strengthening in certain areas.

"We have a good squad, but we need to improve in some positions," Ten Hag said.

"I have identified three areas where we need to strengthen: centre-back, holding midfield and forward."

Ten Hag has been linked with a number of players in each position, including RB Leipzig centre-back Josko Gvardiol, West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.

It remains to be seen whether United will be able to sign all three of Ten Hag's targets, but the Dutchman is confident that he can improve the squad in the January transfer window.

"I am confident that we can make the signings we need," Ten Hag said.

"We have a good relationship with the club and we are working together to identify the right players."

Ten Hag's comments come after a difficult start to the season for United.

The Red Devils have lost two of their first three Premier League games, including a 4-0 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion.

However, Ten Hag remains confident that he can turn things around at United.

"I know that we have a lot of work to do, but I am confident that we can improve," Ten Hag said.

"I am excited about the challenge and I am determined to make Manchester United successful again."
